I went to the Friendly Toast last night. It was amazing! I had this awesome Herb Omelet that had brie cheese in it, along with some anadama toast and home fries! So good. It was on the way back from an amazing roller derby bout in Boston. My favorite team, The New Skids on the Block versus my other favorite (primarily due to geography) the Boston Massacre. Any other time I would cheer for the Massacre, but the New Skids are my all time favorite now. THEY WON! I GOT A TSHIRT! It was amazing. Also, there were cupcakes: http://portlandcupcakes.blogspot.com/2011/02/boston-kickass-cupcakes.html

Valentine's Day

Even though my day yesterday was non-stop, I made sure to make a quick trip up into town early in the morning so I could see all the hearts the Valentine's Day bandit had put up. Valentine's Day in Portland is one of my favorites due to the hearts that pop up all over town. One of my favorites was this one:

It would make me so happy to come back to my car in the morning to see a heart on it!

I tried to treat myself as much as possible yesterday and that included stopping at Mister Bagel in Brunswick. It is one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat before work. Actually, my only favorite spot as the only other places I stop at before work are gas stations. They had these adorable red heart shaped bagels and I had to have one, with cinnamon raisin tofu!

I managed to eat one of the cutest cupcakes ever today. If I have to miss the Disney Princesses on Ice, at least I got to have a cute little treat. Back to the ol' homework now...

Hello little yellow bicycle. I would love you in my life!

The sun shining on my bathroom door/through the doorknob. It was beautiful!

Pretty sure this was taken right after I had successfully acted out and had my team correctly guess the Jersey Shore in charades. Me and my nine year old friend Sequoia are totally on the same wave length when it came to the game. She would do a few movements and then I would say "MOBY DICK!" or "DIAL M FOR MURDER!" She knew from what I was doing that it was the Jersey Shore. We totally aced it.
